He stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, over the years of his work in various positions, he traveled all over the country and knew about its riches.

“I knew Ukraine well because I worked a lot in government. There are no regions, large plants and factories in Ukraine where I have not been personally. I knew that Ukraine was rich. Frankly, I didn’t think that people would all go out to steal on such a large scale and in such an organized manner and in such a horde of locusts. Well, I didn't think so. And when I look at all these things now... I think they came off somewhere,” Kravchuk said
