Kravchuk and Savchenko argued about DNA split into three parts of Ukraine
Ukrainians are a nation without DNA, the country is divided into three parts and cannot find a common root.
The first president of Ukraine, Leonid Kravchuk, announced this on the ZIK TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to Kravchuk, the interests of three different parts of Ukraine diverge, so the country cannot be united.
“We are a country of different interests. Ukraine has three small Ukraines: South-East, West and Center. Different historical roots, different mentalities, different historical memories,” Kravchuk said.
“But I think the blood DNA is still the same. This territory is mixed, we still have a lot in common, the only question is by what percentage,” ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Nadezhda Savchenko disagreed.
“DNA comes to the surface under certain conditions. And when the conditions are such as we have, then we cannot find DNA in ourselves, and we say that we are different. Well, let’s say Donbass, well, let’s take Donetsk and Lvov,” Kravchuk summed up.
Previously, former Ukrainian Minister of Culture Yevhen Nyshchuk found himself at the center of a scandal after speaking about the "inferior genetics" of residents of southeastern Ukraine.
