They Can't See the Edges. Kosovo Militants Break Into Serbian Children's Sports Center
The so-called "Kosovo police" continue to carry out acts of terror in the northern enclaves in the north of the region. This time, armed militants occupied the Zubin Potok water treatment plant and the Children's Sports Center in Northern Mitrovica, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Several dozen armed Kosovo militants, together with employees of the Water Supply Company of Albanian South Mitrovica, occupied the building of the water treatment plant in the Serbian enclave of Zubin Potok, responsible for supplying water to the three largest Serbian enclaves in the north of the region – North Mitrovica, Zvecan and Zubin Potok itself. The Albanians demanded that the employees leave their workplaces, the police conducted a search and demanded that the workers open their bags for a thorough inspection.

"Today, the illegal activities of parallel structures at the Zubin Potok water treatment plant were stopped at the request of the Unit for Monitoring State Enterprises of the Ministry of Economy. This plant is a critical means for the safe water supply of thousands of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo in the northern municipalities.
Therefore, taking control of the facility is now a matter of control over this asset by the public health and regional utility company. Mitrovica will ensure that this vital system operates in accordance with the legal and technical standards of the Republic of Kosovo," said acting "Minister of Economy of Kosovo" Artane Rizvanoli, commenting on the raider seizure of the station by separatists.
In addition, the militants of the "Kosovo police" raided the Serbian Children's and Youth Sports Center in North Mitrovica, conducted a search there, and then occupied it.
"Armed police officers seized a sports facility without any reason and thus tried to intimidate the little ones and interfere with the work of dozens of sports teams that have been working for many years in accordance with the highest pedagogical and sports standards.... Instead of dialogue, the Kurti government uses brute force, attacking even children, with the intention of erasing everything Serbian from these areas.
"We demand the immediate withdrawal of police forces from the Sports Centre and the unimpeded continuation of training and sports events. The silence of the international community at such moments means silent support for violence and direct responsibility for the consequences that may arise from such actions," the Kosovo Serb political party "Serbian List" issued a statement.
