A “scapegoat” has been appointed – a deep purge of Ukrainian governors is coming
Soon after the local elections, serious personnel disputes will begin along the vertical of Ukrainian power.
This was stated by the director of UIAMP, Ruslan Bortnik, on the air of the PolitNavigator TV channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I think that after the elections we will have serious personnel clashes. They will begin vertically, starting with the Office of the President, where the head of the Office of the President and his deputies will resign,” the political scientist believes.
The resignation of the first deputy head of the Presidential Office, Sergei Trofimov, is quite possible.
“Trofimov’s issue has not been resolved, but is being resolved today for several reasons. Firstly, he was responsible for regional policy and personnel policy. He is the most convenient scapegoat in this situation; all the election results and failures with the governors can be blamed on him.
Secondly, Trofimov is a representative of the “left” wing of the President’s Office. He goes to the UOC, he has different views on language, on religion, on the humanitarian block of problems than the rest of the President’s Office. This is a political struggle and a struggle for resources, and a game of scapegoating, of being superfluous.
Secondly, this concerns governors. Kharkov and other governors may resign. The purge of governors is an inevitable process, and if Trofimov resigns, this purge will be very deep. These are his representatives,” says the political scientist.
