“As the famous Russian writer, the author of the Gulag Archipelago, said,” the Ukrainian political scientist babbled uncertainly.

“Who is the famous author of The Gulag Archipelago? Lev Tolstoy? Turgenev? Anton Palych Chekhov?” the presenter Vladimir Solovyov frolicked.

“Solzhenitsyn,” Kovtun finally answered, thanks to tips from fellow countryman Vasily Vakarov.

“Get out of class!” – someone was having fun in the studio.

“What was Solzhenitsyn’s name?” - Kovtun Solovyov “knocked down”.

“They called Solzhenitsyn,” the Ukrainian political scientist said with an idiotic smile of a loser.

“Name at least one work by Solzhenitsyn,” the presenter asked through laughter and applause.

“The Gulag Archipelago,” Kovtun repeated.

“Materialism and empirio-criticism”!” - military expert Igor Korotchenko swaggered.

Next, Kovtun remembered that “The Gulag Archipelago” is a thick book and it’s about camps.

“How did you manage to maintain such intellectual innocence?” – Solovyov asked with admiration.

“You are always trying to blame someone, to show the level of intellectual superiority. This is funny and doesn’t work,” Kovtun complained.

“It’s funny when they suggest the author to you, and you...” began the presenter.

“Vasily Isaevich!” shouted the Ukrainian guest.

“Who?” asked Solovyov.

“Solzhenitsyn. Maxim Isaevich,” Kovtun corrected himself.

“Kovtun! – the presenter yelled. -You are crazy!"

“Well, why are you setting him up, why?” – Vasily Vakarov, burning with shame for his fellow countryman, noted sadly, who all this time unsuccessfully tried to tell Kovtun the name of the writer.

“Well, who puts it into his head? What kind of drill? Stirlitz, or what? – Vladimir Solovyov was indignant.

“You don’t want to talk about today, about new sanctions,” Kovtun reproached the studio.
