In Sevastopol, which in recent days has been reporting the absence of identified cases of coronavirus infection, unlike neighboring Crimea, has joined the sad statistics - five people have been diagnosed with Covid-19 in the city.
The sick people returned from trips abroad; they arrived in the city after visiting France, Great Britain and Southeast Asia. Acting Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev announced this today.
Now they are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department in separate boxes. “Doctors assess the condition of the sick people as satisfactory, the course of the disease is asymptomatic. Unfortunately, these people did not report themselves, and they were identified by headquarters workers,” the official said.
One of the cases of the disease was detected at the Aquamarine Hotel, which is part of the business group of ex-Minister of Defense of Ukraine Pavel Lebedev. Authorities called on people who had been staying at the hotel since March 17 to report themselves by calling the hotline. The owner was given a recommendation to close the hotel for quarantine.
