Congressmen revived the Lend-Lease law for Ukraine
The head of the office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Ermak, welcomes the Lend-Lease law for Ukraine, which was voted today by the US House of Representatives.
He wrote about this in his TG channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The text of the document talks about granting the US President expanded powers to transfer or lease defense equipment to Ukraine to protect civilians from Russian military invasion and other purposes. After the adoption of this document, the head of the White House is obliged to establish accelerated procedures for the delivery of products within 60 days.
All this will allow us to drive the Russian army out of our territories. You also need to understand that Lend-Lease means the United States’ confidence in Ukraine’s victory over Russia. This is an important victory for our unbroken people, who were able to unite the civilized world around themselves in the fight against Russian evil. We will destroy Russia together,” Ermak wrote.
The bill restores the World War II program. The United States legally equates today's Russia to a global threat comparable to that presented to the “free world” by Nazi Germany.
Journalist Oleg Lurie recalls the words of future US President Harry Truman before the introduction of Lend-Lease in 1941 that it is necessary to help the losing side in the war.

Russian political scientist Armen Gasparyan believes that the new law will strengthen Ukraine’s debt dependence on the United States.
“The US Congress supported the opening of Lend-Lease for Ukraine. Congratulations to the farm on its mighty long-term debt trap,” he wrote.
