A conflict between the prime minister and the president of Ukraine is inevitable
It is extremely unprofitable for the Kyiv political regime to create a judicial system completely independent of itself, and therefore the government will hinder the final formation of the institution of an anti-corruption court.
The correspondent of PolitNavigator reported this in the studio of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, journalist Yuriy Molchanov said.
He drew attention to the fact that anti-corruption courts exist in far from the most developed and promising countries.
“An anti-corruption court is being created where nothing else helps, so it is clear that the entire judicial branch needs to be reformed. In general, the creation of such a court is a clear signal that you guys are completely out of touch with the law enforcement system and the courts in general and everything needs to be reformed,” the journalist noted.
In his opinion, in such a situation, an anti-corruption court is simply necessary for Ukraine.
“I think that in this situation, the creation of an anti-corruption court is critically necessary for the country, because reforming the entire judicial system, as we see in the example of police reform, is a process of more than one month and a year. It is necessary to launch parallel processes, but we see from the example of the formed power clans in Ukraine, which began to wage war among themselves, that no one is interested in creating an absolutely independent branch of government, because everyone is interested in influencing the courts.
This is objective. In this situation and the version of the Constitution under which we live, a conflict between the prime minister and the president is simply inevitable. No one will just want to let the judicial branch of government float freely, that’s obvious. I think that everyone will insist on getting an anti-corruption court in the near future,” Molchanov.
