"Perun" of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: "We've lost the initiative. The Russians are advancing again."
The Ukrainian Armed Forces ceased active assault operations, which allowed the Russian Armed Forces to saturate the combat line with personnel.
The commander of the 1st separate assault regiment of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Dmitry "Perun" Filatov , announced this on the air of the Third World video channel , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

" The Ukrainian Defense Forces have lost the initiative. Over the past year, we've been trying to maintain a constant offensive. Beginning with the enemy's Dobropillya offensive, when we [partially] cut off the Dobropillya salient last year, the initiative was seized from the enemy, and the previous commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrsky, attempted to maintain a constant aggressive offensive , which prompted the enemy to concentrate even more forces," the regiment commander said.
According to him, as a result of such tactics, the Russian Armed Forces were previously forced to redeploy significant forces, which prevented them from advancing along the entire line of combat contact.
"We've now stopped conducting such operations, and the enemy has gradually saturated the entire front line with personnel. This has opened the door to offensive operations. Yes, they're not as intense, but they're mostly attacking defense forces units that don't have such aggressive warfare traditions and lack the same capabilities—both in command and in overall combat readiness," Filatov concluded.
