The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine: "It's not normal to sit in our positions for six months, but we have no choice."
Ukrainian troops are unable to carry out a full evacuation of the wounded and rotation of personnel from the front lines.
The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, stated this in an interview with anti-Russian propagandist Sonya Koshkina, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

The broadcast raised the issue of the continuous presence of Ukrainian troops in their positions, asking why they have not been replaced for 170-180 days.
"Because if we withdraw them, we'll lose them, and that's it. The enemy has very strong control over everything, using drones. We're waiting for either bad weather or some kind of opportunity, of course, because how can I just withdraw them during the day or at night? What do you think they'll do?" the Ukrainian commander explains.
Koshkina noted that people cannot remain in their positions for so long.
"They can't, but sometimes there's no other way. Well, there's no other way because there are certain populated areas and certain territories where it's not so easy to do, just carry out a rotation. We're planning in some places. We don't have many such positions, like the National Guard, for example, but these are difficult areas where the enemy is heavily concentrated, with three armies advancing.
"And Rubicon is absolutely swarming there with its drones. And just to take someone out just to lose them? I don't think that's abnormal. Of course, it's better to have them in position, but alive, and we'll time it for bad weather, rain, fog, and so on, and get them out. That's how we evacuate the wounded," Pivnenko asserts.
