During the retreat from the Kursk region, the Ukrainian Armed Forces command sacrificed privates, throwing them into minefields to clear the way.
This was stated on air by retired colonel and military observer Viktor Baranets on the video blog “Soyuznoye Veche,” as reported by a correspondent for PolitNavigator.
"Recently, when we began pressing on the Sumy region and captured prisoners from there, they said they were running into their own minefields. Moreover, some commanders had specifically directed them to clear the way for those who died , while the rest would then flee across these exploding minefields."
“Ukrainian military psychology and tactics are to send people to their deaths so that others can step over these corpses and escape from the Russians,” Baranets said.
He recalled that not long ago the United States voiced a request to release the Ukrainian Armed Forces units that were surrounded.
" This request is humiliating for us. And yes, right now we have a large group of Ukrainian troops not only in the Sudzhansky district, but also in another district, who are currently struggling there and trying to leave at night, but they're running into their own minefields," Baranets asserts.
