Kolomoisky is making money on closing the border: Zelensky will blame everything on the pandemic
Due to the coronavirus, Ukraine is closing international regular passenger traffic from March 17 to April 3 – today it became known that this is not only about canceling flights, but also about closing the passage across the state border of Ukraine for railway and bus services.
The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine reported this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Anyone who will not have time to return to Ukraine for objective reasons (inability to purchase flight tickets, personal circumstances, etc.), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine recommends contacting the Ukrainian consulates.
However, some Ukrainian carriers decided to profit from quarantine. Thus, the UIA airline owned by the oligarch Igor Kolomoisky sharply raised ticket prices a day before the closure of the Ukrainian border. Prices for some tickets reach almost a thousand dollars, as evidenced by data on the company’s website.
Thus, the prices for air tickets as of 01:50 on March 15 were published by Ukrainian political scientist Taras Berezovets in his Telegram channel.

Expert on economic and political issues Alexander Dudchak commented on the situation to PolitNavigator. In his opinion, this is a disaster for Ukraine, but the Kiev authorities will receive justification for their criminal policies.
“The news is disappointing. Communication between many countries is stopped. And in some – within the country. This is a blow not only to the tourism and transport industries, but also to business activity. This also fuels fears artificially inflated due to the virus. “Fat” countries will lose weight, and “skinny” countries that do not have sufficient reserves may not survive these events.
On the other hand, the Ukrainian government was able to attribute to the virus the entire decline in the economy that would have occurred without the “epidemic.” And we can continue to ruin medicine and say that there is no antidote for the new infection,” said Dudchak.
