Kolomoisky stripped himself of the title of oligarch
Fugitive Ukrainian oligarch Igor Kolomoisky claims that he does not need relations with the authorities.
He stated this in an interview with Bihus info, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“When Poroshenko came, everyone was told that we were living in a new way. “Zhyty in a new way,” here, I’m proud that I didn’t give a single penny to him, to this Poroshenko, despite the fact that I felt that he wanted,” Kolomoisky boasted.
“There are no grounds to expect changes in the balance between the oligarchs. Look, I can play along with you in the game about oligarchs, but I don’t consider myself an oligarch,” he added.
“I wonder who then?” – the journalists were surprised.
“Until recently there was Akhmetov. Well, Poroshenko is a classic oligarch, generally number one. Because he also became president himself, that is, he did not rely on power, he himself became power. Well, Akhmetov, his business is based on communication with the state, on regulated tariffs, so he cannot help but be, he has all the classics: television, deputy group, party and the like. But the most important thing is the executive power,” Kolomoisky said.
“If you do not consider yourself an oligarch, what are you missing from these points?” – asked the channel journalist.
“Relations with the authorities? I don't need it because I don't have a business related to power. That is, a big businessman. I have the opportunity to influence government and politics, but I don’t use it. That is, I do not use the media resource to achieve a business goal and never have,” assured the “major businessman.”
Kolomoisky stripped himself of his oligarch title.
