The collective West has confirmed its weak mental potential – Yavlinsky
Anti-Russian sanctions did not work due to the weak intellectual potential of the West. For the same reason, the economic reforms of the 90s in the Russian Federation recommended by the West failed.
Grigory Yavlinsky, founder of the Yabloko party, stated this in an interview with the RTVI television channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I look professional and smile. They pulled these sanctions out of thin air, and what happened? They did not understand one simple thing: Russia is part of the world. It is so big, it has such great resources and opportunities, it is such a class and type of country that is an organic part of the world economy. Therefore, one way or another, with less or more income, everything will continue and everything will work. There will be economic growth this year. And now it continues, although no one was even expecting it. If you look at what they said and wrote at the very beginning, you will see the level of understanding of the issue,” Yavlinsky said.
He recalled that in the same way, in the 90s, the West allegedly wanted to help Russia - and failed all the reforms. Next year he predicts growth of the Russian economy “and no crisis.”
“There will always be money because oil is needed. Look, they are still debating whether to buy our diamonds. Gas pipelines run through Ukraine. Do you still have questions... Can you imagine anything similar happening in the Second World War?..
Will we not sell oil to Europe? So we sell it to India, they process it a little there, and it comes there (to the EU). I can tell these stories forever. Profit and money matter more,” Yavlinsky concluded.
