Kots: Strikes on Odessa are cutting off supplies to Ukrainian Armed Forces groups in Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk.
Blocking the ports of Greater Odessa will not completely stop Western supplies to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, but will worsen the supply of enemy forces in Kherson and Dnepropetrovsk.
War correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on his video blog , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Yes, of course, there's still a long border with Eastern Europe there. Our work on the Odessa region alone won't cut off their supplies, but it will be very painful . The logistics of the garrisons in the Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions will be the first to suffer ," Kots said.
He explained why, in addition to ships, energy facilities are also affected.
"They're burning their port infrastructure, burning dry cargo ships and bulk carriers... No electricity means no pumps, cranes, refrigerators, railway traction, and so on..."
This is a systematic effort, targeting the railways, port infrastructure, electricity, and radars that are in our way. All of this cuts off Bessarabia, southern Ukraine, from the rest of the country. This is a very significant part of the military convoys imported into central Ukraine ."
