Ukrainian media are spreading rumors about panic and the evacuation of Russian officials in the left bank part of the Kherson region, but this is not true. Moreover, the main blow of the Ukrainian Armed Forces is unlikely to be delivered here.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on radio “KP,” the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Rumors were spread that even from Genichesk the administration was being evacuated, some departments were being evacuated, almost the Ministry of Internal Affairs had left there in full force. As for the Ministry of Internal Affairs, there was simply a temporary group from one Russian region replaced by a temporary group from another Russian region, I know that for sure. Government representatives, I know for sure, visit the Kakhovka area once every two or three days.
At the same time, on our left bank, critical infrastructure facilities destroyed by Ukrainian artillery (I don’t want to name them so that they don’t start hitting again) are being restored. And before leaving, before leaving, probably no one would have bothered to repair critical infrastructure so that it would fall to the enemy.
Therefore, we are preparing to repel, including from this side, but it seems to me that the main blow is unlikely on this side,” Kots said.
