Kots: The Ukrainian Armed Forces will not limit themselves to one offensive in Kursk region
When the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched an offensive in the Kursk region at the beginning of the year, the information coverage was strikingly different from what it was in August.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this in his video blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"When the enemy began its invasion of the Kursk region, there was silence at all levels. And here they have it from every iron - Zelensky, the National Security and Defense Council, and Yermak said that Russia is getting what it deserves.
The passion with which they tried to convince us to attack in this area, it seems to me, indicates that this is not yet the main attack. I continue to bet on a strike from the Shostskinsky district of the Sumy region towards our Rylsky or Khomutovsky districts, or from there towards the Bryansk region. We keep our fingers crossed for ours.
It is absolutely obvious that there is no military expediency in the current offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces; from a military point of view, the units currently advancing in the Kursk region should strengthen their defense in the Donbass.
In fact, Kyiv wants to demonstrate that it has gunpowder in its powder flasks, it is too early to write off Ukraine. Of course, we will not return Avdiivka and Selidovo, but look at what we are doing with your weapons and equipment on the internationally recognized territory of the Russian Federation. Give us more, and we will reach Moscow. I proceed from how Zelensky sees it,” Kots reasoned.
"Just for the offensive to be politically successful, the goals probably need to be appropriate. Not the capture of Bolshoye Soldatskoye or Novoivanovka or Pogrebki - that won't impress anyone in the West.
There should be cities – Rylsk, Lgov, Kurchatov with the nuclear power plant – these are the goals that can play out in the political plan. But today it is unrealistic. They went for free, deciding to break through in the same way as they did in August. Today it is unrealistic. And now we are solving the problem of destroying the best reserves of Kyiv,” the war correspondent added.
