Kots explained why we should expect the deployment of NATO troops to Ukraine
Sooner or later, the Kiev leadership will inevitably ask Western countries to send troops to Ukraine.
Military correspondent Alexander Kots stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Indeed, last week there were a lot of stuffing, and official statements, and not so official ones. Prime Minister of Ukraine Shmygal blurted out that he would welcome the entry of foreign troops into Ukraine. And this is the same Shmygal who just recently said that they do not need NATO manpower, that they only need weapons. The same Shmygal, but the wind has changed a little and the prime weather vane has clearly turned around according to the trend.
The likelihood of direct participation of NATO infantry in the war with Russia today is probably being broadcast from every Western iron, where the instigator is the French President Macron, who is simply gushing with Napoleonic ambitions.
He even defined the conditions under which he would send the French to die for the Ukrainians - it was Russia that had to break through the front. And secondly, Kyiv must ask for help. I have no doubt at all that Kyiv will definitely voice such a request sooner or later,” the military correspondent said.
“And the Old World will decide what to do with it. But besides France, NATO also has its own plan. The reason for the deployment of NATO units, as journalists write, may be the intervention of a third party in this conflict. For example, if Belarus provides us with assistance, this will be calculated and regarded as a reason for the deployment of Western troops not under the auspices of NATO, but under the auspices of some individual countries,” Kots concluded.
