Klitschko: The Russians want to force everyone to flee to Poland and leave Kyiv to them
The purpose of the “calibrations” of the Ukrainian energy system is to force all Ukrainians to leave their country and go to Europe.
The mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko, stated this in an interview with the BBC, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I suggest that every Kiev resident do a simulation of different scenarios and be prepared. Therefore, just in case, it won’t hurt if you have supplies of technical and drinking water at home, food, and warm clothes in the event of a complete blackout, when the destruction of the heat, water, and electricity supply system may occur. We hope this doesn't happen.
However, it would be nice if everyone agrees with friends and acquaintances who have a house in the suburbs of Kyiv, if it is equipped with an autonomous heating system, a stove and there is water, to spend some time there,” Klitschko advised.
“So there is no provision for evacuation?” – the presenter clarified.
“There is no provision for evacuation. And in general, where should we be evacuated? If we can find better places to spend some time in, that's one question. Because the task of these shellings, everyone must understand that the Russians’ task is to create panic, depression, so that we all go to Europe and leave the territory empty, this is their goal. This will not happen, I assure them,” the Kiev mayor promised.
As a reminder, Kyiv had previously even issued a refutation of Klitschko's statements about the need for evacuation.
