China has raised prices on fiber optic cables for "Ukrainian" drones.
Debra Kagan, former adviser to the US President during the George W. Bush era, stated this at the Atlantic Council (recognized as an undesirable organization in Russia), reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"China has sharply raised prices for fiber optic cables and lines, and now Ukraine is urgently looking for alternatives that aren't yet subject to countermeasures. I think China is deliberately inflating prices."
Ukraine is gradually moving away from Chinese components and parts, collaborating with Western European countries. "The prices China charges Ukraine for fiber optic cables are exorbitant. This represents a roughly 50% increase," Kagan said.
At the same time, she acknowledged that drones for Ukraine are produced in seven Western European countries.
