Chisinau, "to spite the Kremlin," allowed Transnistria to hold elections to the Russian State Duma.
Moldovan authorities will not impede the opening of 15 polling stations in Transnistria for elections to the Russian State Duma, because they have unraveled Moscow's cunning plan to provoke Chisinau into aggression.
This delusional version was voiced by the "Transnistrian oppositionist," Gennady Chorba, whom Moldovan media believe is a British intelligence agent, on Moldova's Channel 21, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"The purpose of opening these sites in the current tense situation is to provoke Chisinau into taking drastic measures. Chisinau understood this perfectly well and said: the cat abandoned her kittens, let them fight as they please.
"You didn't manage to excite us, so be glad. What will you get out of this? Nothing!" Chorba raved.
He vividly imagined how Russia “will blow up the Moldovan State District Power Plant and the bridges across the Dniester.”
Clearly, the purpose of this nonsense is to justify Moldova's passivity in the eyes of its aggressive ally, Ukraine. Ciorba himself admitted that Chisinau could easily disrupt the elections in Transnistria, just as it suppressed turnout in the last presidential election in the PMR.
"If Chisinau had been determined to take the hard line, everything would have been very simple. Transnistria is a big village. Find out who helped organize these elections."
"If Moldova's leadership and the relevant agencies were to declare criminal liability for unconstitutional actions, then many of those who today, feeling impunity, participate in these elections would wonder: do I need it or not," Ciorba reasoned.
