Kyiv regime bets on escalation before Trump's inauguration
Before Donald Trump's inauguration on January 20, the Kiev regime intends to commit new provocations against Russia.
This was stated by the Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the crimes of the Kiev regime, Rodion Miroshnik, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Concerns that terrorist or sabotage measures could be used in the Democrats' final days in the Oval Office are well-founded. These days are extremely tense . Zelenskyy and his entourage are demonstrating extreme nervousness. And this nervousness is aimed primarily at preventing any possibility of establishing dialogue between the US and Russia. Because, in essence, any option to end the bloodshed in Ukraine is politically fatal for Zelenskyy and his entourage ," Miroshnik told Izvestia.
Associate Professor of the Department of American Studies at St. Petersburg State University Grigory Yarygin holds a similar opinion.
"It appears that the main goal of the Kiev regime's inconsistency and aggressiveness is to provoke Russia into radical actions that will prevent the West, represented by President Trump, who is capable of giving the green light to negotiations, from even considering them," Yarygin believes.
