Kiev political scientist: The Russian world is a copy of Greater Serbia
There will no longer be such friendliness on the part of the United States towards Russia as in the 1990s.
Ukrainian political analyst and psychologist Dmitry Pasternak-Taranushenko stated this on the YouTube channel of Kyiv political scientist Yuri Romanenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The ideology of the Russian World is an actual copy of the ideology of the Serbian right-wing radicals “Greater Serbia.” Serbian fascists, like Russian chauvinists, believed that the communist parties of the USSR and Yugoslavia created artificial borders, because of which Serbs and Russians were left without their countries. The ideologists of Greater Serbia were sure that Croatia and Bosnia were artificial countries,” Romanenko noted.
In response, Pasternak-Taranushenko said that in those days Europe managed to impose its point of view on the Balkan issue on Russia.
“At the head was Yeltsin, who was not eager to start a war with the West, he tried to show: guys, take us into account, we agreed to be friends. Friendliness on the part of the West was then demonstrated. But in Yugoslavia there was a question of principle for the West, and they did not agree, they showed that in Europe they will not be considered, they will organize Europe in a Western way, and in Europe they must live in a Western way,” the psychologist stated.
