A Kyiv millionaire tortured himself with hundreds of Ukrainian lessons in order to renounce Russian in Israel.
Eccentric gay millionaire Garik Korogodsky from Kiev boasted that he has given up performing in Russian abroad.
He stated this on the air of the ASA Group video channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The host asked his interlocutor what it means for him to love Ukraine in 2026.
"I turned down a Russian-language tour in Israel. Even though the audience there is Russian-speaking, and they are all pro-Ukraine, almost all pro-Ukraine. Those who are pro-Ukraine would have come to me.
But I said no, I will, as a matter of principle, only speak Ukrainian in public. In Europe, I also refused to perform in Russian," said the millionaire, who holds an Israeli passport.
He admits that switching to Ukrainian was not an easy task for him, as he had to take 370 lessons.
"That's 370 hours. It was... Well, that's a... bummer. But I'm studying it, my kids are studying it," Korogodsky boasted.
