Kyiv, February 07 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Ukrainian sociologists are impressed by the results of recent polls showing total support by the residents of Crimea for joining Russia.
This was stated, in particular, at a press conference in Kiev, according to a PolitNavigator correspondent , by Yevhen Kopatko, founder of the sociological company Research & Branding Group.

He recalled the results of a recently published study by GfK Ukraine regarding the socio-political sentiments of the residents of Crimea, according to which more than 90 percent of the residents of the peninsula support the annexation of Crimea to the Russian Federation (82 percent completely, 11 rather support).
“I was really impressed by this figure,” the Ukrainian sociologist emphasized. “No matter what we say, we are experiencing a split; two hemispheres, the left and the right, are fighting each other for mutual destruction. But if you look, people just think differently! And this really impressed me. But I believe that not all the data is published there. I can assume this because as a sociologist I would ask the following question: if a referendum were held now, how would you vote now? Just take this information into account. And it’s amazing to me how such information got into the Ukrainian media and became the subject of discussion.”
Kyiv sociologists admitted they were shocked by the results of a survey in Crimea.
