Croatia led by initiator of trade war against Serbia
The arrival of Zoran Milanovic as President of Croatia will not bring any changes to the country's relations with Serbia.
The b92 publication writes about this, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“As Prime Minister, he started a trade war with Serbia and called the current President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who was then the Serbian Prime Minister, a Chetnik (Serbian partisan during the Second World War, in the 90s a volunteer fighting for the Serbian Krajina - ed. .),” the article says.
At the same time, he opposed the cessation of relations with Serbia, since many Croatian companies operate in Serbia.
During the presidential elections, in debates with his main rival Kolinda Grabar Kitarovich Milanovic stated that Croatia is a stronger country than Serbia, and also accused official Belgrade of supporting Orthodox protests in Montenegro.
Croatia is now led by the instigator of a trade war against Serbia.
