Kharkov politician: “It’s not Donbass and Crimea that are under occupation, but us”
The expulsion of citizens disliked by the regime during prisoner exchanges from the borders of Ukraine, the ongoing forced Ukrainization and Nazification indicate that it is not the Donbass and Crimea that are under occupation, but the entire present-day Ukraine.
Kharkiv politician Andriy Lesik, who recently attempted to organize a rally in defense of Russian schools, which was disrupted by the Nazis , stated this on the air of the 112 Ukraine TV channel, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"I have the impression that all sane Ukrainians are being expelled from the country. This is confirmed by the latest exchange, when they swapped Ukrainians for Ukrainians. And Grandpa Misha, Mikhail Logunov , who was in pretrial detention on false charges, who was worried about his country.
It is necessary to change the attitude of people, the attitude of the media, which call people, including top officials of the state, terrorists and so on.
"There are no terrorists there ( in Crimea and Donbas – editor's note ). People just like you and me live there. These people remain committed to their ideals; they said that May 9th is a holiday for them," Lesik said.
He clarified that it is not Donbass and Crimea that are under occupation, but the entire “Nezalezhnaya” region.
“You said “under occupation” - despite what is happening in our country, it is still unknown who is under occupation. Because now citizens of Ukraine who express their position want to remain themselves, do not try to please anyone, and cannot guarantee security.
In our country it is impossible to hold a peaceful meeting of citizens without any conflicts occurring, because the police are inactive,” the speaker concluded.
