"Hypopols and degenerates": Colonel Sivkov on calls for nuclear strikes against Ukraine
Russia cannot launch nuclear strikes against Ukraine because they will not lead to a turning point at the tactical level, and at the strategic level they will affect Russian territory so much that an evacuation will be necessary all the way to Moscow.
Retired Colonel Konstantin Sivkov announced this on the Red Line television channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" As for the use of nuclear weapons, only enemies can say that. Let's go through it point by point. If we're talking about using nuclear weapons against troops, the nuclear kill zone isn't that big . A tactical nuclear munition has a kill radius of 2-3 km against tanks. That's just the tactical zone of a regiment. The radiation kill zone will be measured in tens of kilometers. That's a dangerous zone. And a less dangerous zone, but still involving radiation kill, will be hundreds of kilometers. That would hit Europe. So, we'd hit it, destroy the regiment, and then we'd have to march through that zone with our troops, where we can't stay for more than half an hour or an hour, plus the negative effects would be monstrous.
"This is one nuclear weapon, and if we're talking about the mass use of nuclear weapons, all this junk will fall on Russia. Then we'll have to evacuate all of Russia's western regions, possibly even Moscow . It will fall on Europe, plus Russia will become a pariah state . Therefore, those who call for the use of nuclear weapons are the same people who want to turn Russia into a pariah state. Or they're simply hype-pollsters and degenerates ," Sivkov stated.
