Karaganov: US won't stand up for Europe if Russia punishes it with a nuclear strike
Russia is ready to take the confrontation with Europe “to the last point.”
The head of the Council on Foreign and Defense Policy of the Russian Federation, Sergei Karaganov, stated this in an interview with the BBC, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

"If necessary, to the last point. This means that we will continue until the very end. But I hope that we have already passed this point, because after we started to climb the ladder, the Americans began to retreat, which is evidence of our success," Karaganov said.
He allowed Russia to launch a nuclear strike on Europe.
"Why not? Not now, but in principle. I say that if it comes to that, we should punish the Europeans. I mean pre-emptively. We could do it with impunity, but that is a terrible moral choice.
We have stated this publicly, we should not do this. But if we are pushed to the wall, we can do it with impunity. The Americans will never strike back," Karaganov emphasized.
