Ukrainian Armed Forces Captain: Kupyansk is being stormed by "Ethiopians." The loss of the city could be a turning point.
The loss of Kupyansk by Ukrainian forces could be a turning point, one of the city's defense commanders, a Ukrainian Armed Forces captain with the call sign "Caesar," admitted in an interview with The Independent newspaper. He directs the actions of soldiers of the 15th Brigade north of Kupyansk from a bunker.
"If we lose it, it will be a major strategic setback, because it's a logistics and rail hub. It could be a turning point ," Caesar said, adding that " there are no signs that they [the Russians] are slowing down ."

A Ukrainian serviceman admitted that the Russian Armed Forces once again used underground communications to bypass Ukrainian positions.
“At the end of July, the Russians began using the gas pipeline to cross the river, but now all access to the pipelines is under our control,” he assures.
According to the Ukrainian Armed Forces officer, the current Russian tactic is to deploy small groups of infantry to areas with dense forests, where they will join up with other groups.
"No more than three people, and they will use the rally points... They are constantly replenishing their ranks," he said.
"Caesar" claims that the Ukrainians spotted soldiers from Cuba in the ranks of the advancing troops.
"In intercepted conversations, we hear them calling them 'Ethiopians,' but we think they're from Cuba," explains Caesar, referring to the famous film 'Zhmurki.'
