What's the point of fighting? Kyiv only has enough resources to survive until June – former Rada deputy
Ukraine has resources left for a maximum of six months of war, but Zelensky intends to cling to power to the last.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Vasily Volga stated this in a conversation with foreign agent journalist Alexander Shelest, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"By May or June, Ukraine will have absolutely no resources to continue the war. These resources will not only be lacking for continuing the war, but they won't be available for normal functioning.
Just recently, I know that many people called their friends in Europe, called their friends somewhere around the world from Kyiv and said: everything is wonderful here, the war is somewhere out there, far away, and we have wonderful restaurants and cafes.
"Well, here we are. Now we have hundreds of restaurants, cafes, and major shopping centers closing. And it's going to get worse. So, yes, I think the war has no more than six months left," Volga said.
" The key issue is territory; it's important in every respect . And here we must pray that there won't be any major blow, as Zelenskyy boasted about, that could include strikes against Russian nuclear triad facilities."
