Simferopol, January 07 (PolitNavigator, Viktor Orlov) – The authorities of Simferopol were unable to ensure normal clearing of even the main highways after heavy snowfall on Christmas Eve.

On Christmas morning, car drivers rushing to festive services in churches were forced to move around Simferopol at a speed of 40 km/h due to dangerous icy roads - the roads were only sprinkled with sand in some places. Crimean utility workers have not carried out any clearing with the help of technology or the use of reagents to melt the ice.
After the reunification of Crimea with Russia, the authorities of St. Petersburg sent more than 100 units of equipment to Simferopol for use in public utilities.
