As Shoigu promised: Russia struck a Kyiv TV tower
An explosion occurred near the local TV tower in Kyiv. Eyewitnesses are posting photos and videos of the incident on social media, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to information from Kyiv nationalist lawyer Andrei Smoliy, after the explosion in the Ukrainian capital the broadcast of TV channels disappeared.
“Announced by the Russian Ministry of Defense, a strike with precision weapons on a TV tower in Kyiv,” Gasparyan wrote on his blog.
Political scientist Semyon Uralov, in a comment to PolitNavigator, stated that the strike on the Kyiv TV tower was necessary as part of the fight against Ukrainian propaganda:
“The endless Ukrainian telethon, which whips up military hysteria and creates the illusion of total victories, turns a blind eye to the looting that is unfolding in the cities.”
As Shoigu promised, Russia struck the Kyiv TV tower.
