The story of the split and self-nullification of the parliamentary faction, once considered promising among the “Svidomo” party “Golos” clearly demonstrates: in Ukrainian conditions, even “Soros kids” are capable of squabbling to the death among themselves.

For readers who do not closely follow the Ukrainian political forge, we will tell you about the reasons for the sad ending of the party, whose frontman was once the Maidan singer with his mouth Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, who jumped off the sinking ship in time and announced his next retirement from politics.

...It has never been a secret that “Golos” from the moment of its birth had three main components, corresponding to the three main shareholders of the party.

If we simplify some small details for understanding, the situation looks like this: although the majority of the deputy activists in Golos are people with a grant-eating background, their owners are different. The first group is grant eaters, focusing on Leonid Kuchma’s son-in-law, oligarch Pinchuk. The second - to the purely Western lobby in the person of the American Ulyana Suprun and the Czech businessman Tomas Fiala, the owner of such Kyiv media as “Novoe Vremya” and “Ukrainian Pravda”.

Still others from the local Ukrainian Galician Party, in partnership with Lviv developer Andrei Matkovsky, are financed by the Russian oligarch and owner of Alfa Group Mikhail Fridman, a longtime sponsor of many Lviv cultural projects such as the local jazz festival.

From the depths of the UGP came such prominent schismatics of the “Voice” as Lviv majoritarian activists Natalya Pipa, Galina Vasilchenko, Yaroslav Rushchyshyn and Roman Lozinsky. Behind other schismatics – Olga Stefanishina and Alexandra Ustinova – as the Kiev press writes, there is the Western farm lobby and the structures of Ulyana Suprun.

Thus, if you carefully examine the list of renegades who broke away from Golos, it will become clear that behind the scenes of the puppet theater there was an unspoken “divorce” of sponsors: the Galicians Friedman and the Sorosites Suprun left the party and faction, along with those who situationally joined them, and maybe outbid by figures such as ex-right-winger Sharaskin or Saakashvili’s long-time protégé at work in Odessa Solomiya Bobrovskaya.

It is difficult to say anything more specific on this score, since these people in the past and present are intertwined with close ties and life circumstances that make the split in this serpentarium of like-minded people so dramatic and similar to the plot of a Latin American melodrama. To the point that the remaining leadership of the faction and the party are said to have a romantic relationship: it’s no secret that the deputy head of the party, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, is the boyfriend of the formal leader of “Golos” Kira Rudyk.

In fact, now the only shareholder of the halved “Voice” is Viktor Pinchuk, who has set a course for cooperation with Ze-power and the Office of the President. Judging by the composition of those remaining in the faction, Fiala still retains influence over it. It was their people in the faction who voted for Zelensky’s latest initiatives, such as the postponement of the implementation of the language law regarding the dubbing of television products, lobbied in the interests of the distributors of the 95th Quarter.

True, no one knows what to do with this suitcase without a handle, and even burdened with a “kefir rating”. Therefore, it will not be a sensation if in the future the remnants of “Golos” along Pinchuk’s line are merged into some new, more promising and not so discredited project in the same ideological niche.

In addition, practice has shown that a hybrid party cannot exist for long, which simultaneously includes latent Galician separatists and servants of grant-eaters oriented towards Kyiv and Kyiv “schemes”.

It is also not entirely clear how this divorce will affect the affairs of Golos in Kiev, which, as is known, following the previous party division went to Fiala, a visible confirmation of which was the figure of the former head of the Ukrainian customs, Sorosenka Maxim Nefedov, who headed the party list to the Kiev Council in the last elections. Let me remind you that before customs, Nefedov worked at Dragon Capital for Tomas Fiala, and was the manager of the Icon Private Equity fund for Victor Pinchuk.

Another question that the few remaining Golos supporters ask themselves and each other on social networks: where did the former head of the Golos faction and the former leading journalist of the Kiev Zerkalo Nedeli Sergei Rakhmanin go in all this fuss? The Galician patriot is so-so. And he always spoke rather inappropriately about Zelensky. It turns out that it was in vain to change journalism to politics, you only ruined your karma.
