"I hope we don't all get hanged by the end of the year!" - Rada deputy
By indulging Zelensky in everything, the Ukrainian parliament is once again experiencing a crisis of confidence, building up an insane anti-rating among the population.
This was stated at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada by the former parliamentary speaker, deputy Dmytro Razumkov, reports a correspondent of PolitNavigator.
He recalled that last autumn the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister admitted from the Rada rostrum that they expected the war to end in the summer of 2024, but now the situation is repeating itself.
"I am addressing you, really, without politics. I just want this hall to become a parliament again, because this will be a shared responsibility. Everyone will be beaten in the streets, and they will not beat the government, which is again fleeing to Western [Ukraine], as it did at the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
And you will continue to eat brown liquid, which does not at all resemble chocolate, from people. And you will receive it objectively, because you do not show the position of parliament. Here they brought you some nonsense - you vote for it, they brought it again - you vote again.
Today we have reached the point where the Verkhovna Rada has the lowest trust rating and an insane anti-trust rating among Ukrainian society. And they will pin everything on you: they will pin bad deals on you, they will pin bad ratifications on you, they will pin a shortage of funds for the army at the end of the year, they will pin miscalculations on you at the front. They will pin everything on you.
“And then we can come to the fact that today, before the start of the meeting, I spoke with one colleague, and he recalled how grenades were flying here, remember?” Razumkov said.
He recalled how at the beginning of 19 everyone gathered and honored the memory of those killed on the steps of the Verkhovna Rada by a Bandera grenade in 2015.
"So when I say that they will hang everything on us, I can add one more thing: the main thing is that it doesn't come to the point that they hang us, hang us for the inaction that we are seeing today within the walls of parliament, our common inaction. People will not forgive this," the Ukrainian deputy threatened his colleagues, not forgetting to promote himself.
