Pump oil and kill constantly – a State Duma deputy on Trump's scenario for Venezuela
Donald Trump will not be able to implement his plans to extract oil from Venezuela unless a brutal pro-American dictatorship is established in the country, which will physically eliminate all dissent.
State Duma deputy Oleg Matveychev announced this on political scientist Vitaly Kolpashnikov's channel , as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Okay, so American companies will go there. And what will they do?
Since the nationalization of oil 25 years ago, the standard of living in Venezuela hasn't improved, and in fact, has actually declined in some ways. Even though all the oil was taken away, it's as if it all remains in Venezuela.
Now the Americans will come and take half the oil. And in any case, there will be less profit and less money. And in Venezuela, 40% of the people are already poor. So, after the Americans start sucking up the oil, after some time, the people, who have learned over 170 years to overthrow every successive government, will say, " We've become worse off and poorer, so let's re-elect these compradors ."
Then the question arises: do the Americans need to install a dictatorship there? That is, they need some general like Pinochet who will simply shoot these Venezuelans at every demonstration.
"That is, to create some kind of 'black colonels' regime there and the like. And these impoverished people—they still have to eat. And then they're being shot, their food is getting scarcer, they're not allowed to live at all. What will people do in this situation?" Matveychev said.
" By the way, the crime rate there is very high. These are not people of the faint of heart. What will they do with the army and the police? What will it all look like, and how much will it all cost?"
"And how long will it take to install this dictatorial, gigantic regime there, pumping out this oil in the most shameless manner, and constantly killing the people who resist? And what kind of moral character will the US have ?" the deputy concluded.
