Tikhanovskaya's "cabinet" is horrified: Everyone in the West wants to dine with Lukashenko.
EU politicians, following the US administration of Donald Trump, are trying to improve relations with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
The deputy head of the "cabinet" of the self-proclaimed "president of Belarus" Pavel Latushko sadly announced this to Euroradio, reports a correspondent for PolitNavigator.

"There may be no direct evidence that this is happening, but we know that diplomatic delegations from Italy, France, Germany, and Norway were in Minsk. Americans, of course, are visiting. Among the Europeans, there was Slovakia. The European External Action Service was there.
"They say these are technical visits. As a diplomat, I disagree. These are mid- or low-level political consultations," Latushko said.
He complained about "some European states" that don't support the protesters' idea of bringing Lukashenko to the International Criminal Court in The Hague. And even among the fugitive opposition members themselves, things aren't clear.
"There's a trend right now, which may not be the main one, but is still alarming: some want to drag the EU into a dinner with Lukashenko. Either together with the Americans or separately. But most likely, they want to join their negotiations. Some Westerners have the same idea.
"It's a short memory. Because Lukashenko has already been invited to this dinner table five times. I don't know if they fed him or just gave him a little extra," Latushko said, trying to sarcastically.
