Russian supporters of liberal values, the so-called Westernizers, no longer understand how they can prove the West's advantages today.
This was stated by political analyst and founder of the KVN drone production and the Ushkuynik UAV school, Alexey Chadayev, on the air of the Russian media technologist Semyon Uralov's video blog, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".
He said that he recently returned from Minsk and saw a huge influx of Chinese innovations flowing there.
"Of course, they're creatively reinterpreting Western technologies by the Chinese, but then again, there's less and less of the Western variety, and more and more of the Chinese variety. In short, the source of models is increasingly not the Western world," Chadayev said.
According to him, the Westerners in the post-Soviet space, whom he refers to as a "cabal," are losing ground globally.
"How will it teach society Western values if the accompanying flow of technology and progress no longer comes from there? Roughly speaking, now is the time of the pioneers again. Unfortunately, unlike in the 1960s, there are very few of our Russian pioneers there, although they exist," Chadayev added.
Another guest on the show, philosopher Pavel Shchelin, agreed with this opinion.
“Well, after such a regression, at least there is something, that’s already good, of course,” he said.
