“K-52 is a horror for our armored vehicles” - Ukrainian aviation expert about Russian helicopters
Russian K-52 helicopters must be destroyed at airfields, because due to the large range of anti-tank missiles and quiet movement, which is especially important now due to the seasonal lack of natural camouflage on the ground, they pose an extreme danger to the armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukrainian aviation expert Valery Romanenko stated this on Radio NV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"They're very dangerous. Russia has quite a few of them ( Russian K -52 reconnaissance and attack helicopters – ed .). These helicopters are quite quiet. While our soldiers on the front lines can still hear the planes approaching and manage to hide, when helicopters approach from the rear, even against the wind to hide, and then roll up and launch missiles, the attack could come as a surprise to the forward units.
In addition, these helicopters have a large assortment of different anti-tank missiles, and now, in conditions when we cannot hide military equipment in the greenery, because the trees are bare, it is also difficult to paint a large number of military equipment white at the same time, they can be dangerous for all types of our military equipment - tanks, armored personnel carriers, trucks.
The danger lies in their large numbers and their combat capabilities. This is a dangerous thing for us, we need to destroy as many of them as possible, and, most importantly, we need to strike at their advanced airfields,” Romanenko said.
