Ferries on the Kerch crossing have been suspended due to bad weather

This was reported by the press service of the Crimean Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

“As of 05:30 on April 8, ferry traffic on the line port Crimea - port Kavkaz was temporarily suspended due to worsening weather conditions,” the message says.

According to rescuers, at the indicated time there were 101 vehicles at the crossing storage areas: 72 cars and 25 trucks.

Due to the movement of the southern cyclone on April 8 in Crimea and Simferopol, the south-west wind is expected to increase with a transition to the north-west wind of up to 23-28 m/s. There is heavy precipitation on the peninsula - rain, sleet. Foggy in places.
