The story of Yevhen Zhelizko, arrested in Lviv , is cited as an example . He was arrested after a conversation with a childhood friend in which he insisted that the war crimes in Bucha were a fabrication concocted by Ukraine.

Zhelizko's prison term " expires in a few days ," television reports.
The report's authors discovered that articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code regarding the justification of war or even participation in illegal armed groups stipulate that after serving their sentence, citizens may be conscripted into the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
"Therefore, after serving their sentence, such citizens must register with the TCC ," the authors point out.
It is possible that those who “ do not repent ” may be sent back to prison.
"If these people have served their sentences and, upon release, don't commit another criminal offense, then they've clearly served their time. That's if we value the basic principles of the rule of law. Whether we like it or not. Another issue is how appropriate was the punishment?
