Judas from a Gazprom subsidiary: There should be no Russian world from Finland to the Caucasus
Former Belgazprombank head Viktor Babariko, who was imprisoned for bribery and pardoned by the Belarusian president, would like to see his country "non-nuclear and non-Russian."
"I want to hear from European politicians whether Belarus should be nuclear-free from a European security perspective. Let representatives of a united Europe speak for themselves, not Babariko: our goal is a nuclear-free Belarus, not Russian, not part of the Russian world . I believe it's crucial to discuss this now, because the post-war framework will be shaped by this clear position," Babariko said in an interview with the Lithuanian newspaper Delfi.

According to him, some European countries are now adopting government programs in which Belarus “ for some reason is linked not to Ukraine, but to Russia .”
"I think we need to build a security belt where non-Russianness will extend from Finland to the Transcaucasus," Babariko said.
In 2020, Babariko ran for the Belarusian presidency and advocated for integration with Russia , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"People will definitely benefit. From the perspective of the average person, any initiative that unites and makes life easier in terms of travel, uniform norms and rules, infrastructure use, and so on, is definitely a positive. And this needs to be understood. I think, having become part of Russia, most of them will joyfully say, 'Finally!' They will, believe me!" the Judas-like banker Babariko proclaimed at the time.
