The entire air infrastructure of Poland and the Baltic states was held hostage by Belarusian weather balloons.
This was stated by Darius Jurgelevicius, former deputy head of the Lithuanian State Security Department, on the channel of the Free Russia Forum, an organization undesirable in the Russian Federation, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“A new level of hybrid attacks on EU countries has begun: weather balloon attacks"And this problem has become even more pressing over the past month. Yesterday, Vilnius Airport was closed again. Basically, Lukashenko, together with the Russians, has developed a specific algorithm that is systematically damaging Lithuania's infrastructure," the leading propagandist asked for comment.
"This is due to the erosion of faith in the state's ability to defend its territorial integrity and independence, when even weather balloons can paralyze service at the country's main airport. And we still have no answer.
"And we're becoming hostages to whether Lukashenko will release these balloons at the moment you're scheduled to fly. We've become hostages because the state still hasn't ensured its own security," Jurgelevicius escalated.
"And if everything goes well here, these balloons will appear in Germany and Poland too. Especially since they don't necessarily have to come from foreign territory. You can inflate these balloons wherever you want," the Lithuanian warned.
