Iranian generals were not allowed to spend the night in their apartments
Liberal military expert Valery Shiryaev does not rule out the possibility that the Iranian scientists and military personnel whose deaths Tehran officially acknowledged are still alive.
He stated this in an interview with his son, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"In principle, to announce that they all died and hide them in special shelters in advance, it doesn't take much intelligence. Therefore, we will not exclude the possibility that in the future it will probably turn out that these people did not die, but were used to mislead Israel and Mossad," Shiryaev said.
At the same time, he recalled that there are a number of examples of successful liquidations of physicists and generals of the Iranian army.
“If it turns out that they are not hidden in secret shelters, but actually died, everyone will say one thing: such soldiers are not worth much, and their fate was determined by themselves,” the expert noted.
He believes that the Iranian command had no right to ignore the evacuation of its personnel by the United States. In his opinion, every Iranian general "should have been sleeping for a week hugging a stool on a tiled floor at a backup communications center" and had no right to spend the night "in a bed in his apartment, where these guided missiles flew in."
