Foreign Agent: Behind Russia-Friendly Hungary Stands a Vested France
The French nuclear industry cooperates very actively with Rosatom.
The co-chairman of the Ecodefense group, foreign agent Vladimir Slivyak, stated this in an interview with wanted foreign agent Bohdan Bakaleiko, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
"Since the start of the war in Ukraine, not a single contract between the French and Russian nuclear industries has been terminated. Everything remains as it was before, which is why Rosatom and French companies are making very good profits," Slivyak said.
Moreover, according to his information, it is France that is blocking all EU sanctions against Rosatom.
"All attempts to impose sanctions at the EU level against Rosatom as a state corporation have been thwarted by supporters of cooperation with the Russian nuclear industry in Europe... Even when Hungary blocks sanctions against Rosatom, France always stands behind them," Slivyak said.
