Even sociologists who are foreign agents have recorded in focus groups that the majority of respondents are confident of Russia's victory, although they are unsure what that victory will entail.

Alexey Levinson, head of the socio-cultural research department at the Levada Center, a foreign agent, stated this in an interview with the Forbes YouTube channel, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

There's a low level of anxiety about what might happen. But compared to what one might imagine—that it would be very scary for people—it's not. It's more like a weather phenomenon ," Levinson said.

According to him, in previous years there was a fear of the SVO escalating into a world war and a clash with NATO, but now this has subsided.
