Foreign Agent Latynina: This Is No Longer Anchorage. Moscow Has Tightened Its Requirements
Russia, exploiting its military advantage, is now imposing much harsher peace terms on Kyiv than it did in Anchorage a year ago. Pro-Ukrainian propaganda was spreading these lies ahead of the visit of Trump emissaries Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner.
Yulia Latynina, a liberal journalist and foreign agent who fled Russia, stated this in an interview with foreign agent Alexander Shelest , reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“ The conditions that Whitkoff and Kushner brought are even worse than the previous conditions, even worse than the Anchorage conditions , not to mention that they are worse than the Istanbul conditions, not to mention that they are worse than the Minsk conditions.
And so, like a thermometer stuck in boiling water, you can see who's winning and who's losing, who has escalatory dominance and who doesn't, " Latynina said.
She called for not believing pro-Ukrainian propaganda:
“After Ratcliffe’s trip, we saw thousands of talking heads – both Russian and Ukrainian – all serving the same USAID.
Having lost his temper, they said that Ratcliffe wanted to explain to Putin that “he was losing,” that “the Russian elites would overthrow him now,” and that “Russia was completely on its knees,” Latynina recalled.
However, details of the negotiations, leaked anonymously by participants, that were unfavorable to Kyiv's interests then began to appear in the Ukrainian and Western press. It turned out that the discussions were not about emergency supplies of Patriot missiles, but about securing Ukraine's territorial losses, creating buffer zones, and so on.
"It wasn't Russia that leaked it; nothing ever leaks from Russia." It's perfectly clear why Witkoff and Kushner went to Moscow first—they didn't want it to leak right away.
Note that Zelensky first tried to spin around, to put on a show: “We were talking about how much they’ll give us…”
"Since everything had leaked, we chose another option. First we planned a celebration, then a funeral, then we decided to combine them," Latynina said, describing the Ze-office's attempts to steer clear of the situation.
