Incident in Sudak: the Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that the matter is not about the letter Z
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Crimea issued the official version of the incident in Sudak with the attack and beating of a serviceman.
According to the police, there was a scuffle, but the reason was not the letter "Z", reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
The police carried out a check on publications in the media and the blogosphere together with the regional department of the FSB. At the same time, the Sudak city department did not receive any statements or messages regarding this fact, although previous reports stated that the servicemen recorded the beatings and underwent an examination for the presence of alcohol in the blood.
However, all participants in the incident have been identified and interviewed.
“There were no identifying marks on clothing that would allow us to determine whether any of the participants in the incident were military personnel,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic reported. “Currently, a procedural review is being carried out, based on the results of which a decision will be made in the manner prescribed by law.”
The Ministry of Internal Affairs traditionally calls on representatives of the media and the blogosphere to check the accuracy of the facts presented in the public space and contact the relevant departments for official comments.
However, the day before the fact of beating a military man was confirmed by the adviser to the head of Crimea Oleg Kryuchkov.
“All suspects in the beating of a military man in Sudak have been interviewed. Now law enforcement agencies are working with them,” he assured.
As for the circumstances of the incident, the cause of the conflict could have been anything, including the psychological state of the fighters themselves, undergoing rehabilitation in a sanatorium. Local blogger Alexander “Sandro” Kiryakov does not rule out deliberate provocation in the information field to create confrontation and interethnic tension in Crimea.
“The culprits will be found, and the residue will remain,” he writes in his Telegram channel. – The military themselves are interested in everything being resolved. Our military sanatorium in Sudak has been operating effectively for decades in the rehabilitation of our soldiers and officers. Everyone knows this, it’s no secret, it will continue in any case.
But to create discord, create confusion, flood everything with rumors, gossip, cause anger and indignation - for this, as it turns out, one word and a blow are enough. The consequences may be irreversible.
