"Otherwise we won't win" – Kyiv demands to begin conscripting 18-year-olds
Ukraine should recruit 18-year-old boys and girls into the army, supposedly for training and rear service, and then force them to sign contracts.
The commander of the Dnepr-1 battalion, Colonel Yuriy Bereza, announced this on Radio NV, the correspondent reports. "PolitNavigator".

"We need to clearly explain to society that we need to reinstate mobilization for those aged 18. We must use these young men and women in units in Western Ukraine – on the border and in training centers.
So that they gain skills within a year, and then fire them after a year. And until they reach 25 years of age, conscript them into the Ukrainian Armed Forces two or three times and train them in the use of weapons“The tactics and strategy of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,” Bereza said.
"And most importantly, these young men and women must understand that after completing their service, they can sign a contract. But that's a different matter.
But without this reform, without mobilization from the age of 18, it will be quite difficult to survive in this protracted war,” he added.
