“Go to •••, stupid.” How the “plague train” from Moscow was greeted in Kyiv
The day before, the last special train from Moscow arrived in Kyiv, evacuating people stuck in Russia due to borders closed due to quarantine.
The stream from the Kyiv station was conducted by Hromadske journalist, Ukrainian nationalist Bogdan Kutepov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Wow, a special plague train is coming from Moscow! We already lack these guys, and also the coronavirus... We have an emergency situation, not a situation, but still limited movement, maybe they will specifically protect Russian people away from journalists. Who needs them? There is still a strong lobby here in Kyiv,” the journalist said.
“Well, I think until the first hundred funerals, then the lobby will die out on its own,” replied Kutepov’s colleague, the author of the expression “plague train” in relation to the arriving train, Sergei Takhmazov.
After this, Kutepov made a Roman salute on Takhmazov’s camera.
“Well, the train is coming from Moscow, what should we sing? “The blue carriage is running and swaying”? Now they will all be screened... The plague train from Russia is what journalists call the train that arrived on the first track of the Railway Station, which has been closed for several days,” the streamer mocked.
“There would have been no happiness, but misfortune helped. Because of the coronavirus, the borders with Russia were finally closed, and everything became more or less adequate. The only thing is that they are shooting in the zone of operation of the joint forces,” Kutepov said.
Then, on the other side of the station, where the greeters were standing, the nationalist began to irritate people with his chatter about “whose Crimea is.”
“Hello, Hromadske. Who are we meeting? Ah, I understand. I’ll say in Russian: where are we going to meet? With bread and salt? Ukrainian generous land. Oh, Ukrainian, I forgot. And in Ukraine or in Ukraine? – Kutepov pestered people.
“Listen, get the fuck out of here,” one of those greeting him couldn’t stand it.
“Oh, I see, whose is Crimea?” - Natsik did not let up.
"Are you dumb? Get out of here,” another man intervened.
Without stopping the squabble, Kutepov was nevertheless forced to retreat.
“Meet the mother of Russian cities! God forbid. I tell you, God, that I’m not a Muscovite... Oh, I don’t recognize the station, there’s nowhere to park. Wow, we are meeting the Russian world, finally we are having a holiday...People who get off the train need to ask: “Whose Crimea?” just like measuring temperature,” the journalist clowned.
When the passengers were finally released from the carriages, Kutepov, despite his bravura chatter, simply filmed the stream of masked people loaded with things.
